I normally take my pills in the evening, like 10 or 11ish. Ok, so I shouldn't start my period until next wedneday 3/29/06, and I started last night 3/19/2006. I am really scared that I am pregant or something. What is going on, please help....

Hun your are most likely in the clear. The bleeding you got is most likely breakthrough bleeding. When I use to take birth control and I would miss a pill within 24hrs I would have breakthrough bleeding. But if you are concerned just use a backup method for a week.

Thank you for responding. I have another question though, so I started 10 days early, but I am not bleeding very much at all. It only takes 1 tampon a day, is this still ok. It is not like my normal period at all. Will I continue to bleed for 2 weeks.

It could be different for everyone, most likely it will just continue to taper off in a couple days. But there still is a chance you may spot untill your next cycle. Also how long have you been on bc? If you haven't been on it long it may be spotting from starting it, it takes a few months for your body to adjust to the hormones in the pills.

I have been on bc for about 6 years now. One of my friends told me that if you are on the same bc for more than 10 years it is unhealthy, is this true. I have been on the same one until about 4 months ago I switched to the generic brand. I got really sick over the weekend and went to the Dr. I am not pregnant, so that is good. Got a bad case of the flu with my eyes and everything, I wasn't looking good.
