thrush and missed period
been on clomid for 5 months now- really want a baby! My period was due 4 days ago but instead of that i got thrush? really worried, treating it with canestan cream - seems to be helping, i also have pain in my abdomin on the left side, feels like my ovary is growing. Any suggestions?

hi and welcome. I had terrible thrush when i was pregnant but never got it as a sign. mine never appeared till into my 4th month of pregnancy. hope it works out for you and you are.
If not you can always have good fun trying. try not to brood if your period arrives keep as relaxed as you can and let mother nature do her thing.

trush can definately be a sign of pregnancy! i went to the docs with cramping and a light brownish discharge. Was sent for a screening, for STD's,Infections,Cancerous cells, the lot! Turned out i had thrush n was made to give a urine sample as i said my period was 3 days late.....turned out i was pregnant and the hormonal changes when you very first fall pregnant can cause thrush! However, its alot harder to treat as the majority of over the counter creams and anti-biotics are not licenced to treat pregnant women! So,i took my docs advice and changed a few things! wearing cotton pants, loose fitting clothing, none perfumed shower gels...etc n its gone Smile
hope this helps xxx
