How can I treat red rash on the skin after I got a Tattoo? Posted: 03-20-06 08:16am
I got my first tattoo on the 8th of March.
It is very small, black ink only, on my
ankle. On the 13th my legs began to
itch. By the 15th, my face started
itching too. The last couple of days, my
legs, arms, face, neck and ears itch. The
face and ears are worst, looking red/rashy
sometimes.
Research online tells me this is not
uncommon. I would like to know what I can
do to relieve these symptoms, and how long
I might expect them to last. Before bed I
have been taking an antihistimine, and
during the day I take vitamin C and Omega
3.
Is there anything else I should be
concerned about, having this reaction?
You can continue taking an antihistamine
before going to bed. You might think
twice about getting another tattoo!
