Help!! Am I Pregnant?? Posted: 01-02-04 20:31pm
My last period started on the 18th nov, I
also stopped taking the birth control pill
around the same time, I also had period on
5th nov, which was unusual two in one
month, I have had unprotected sex since
18th nov and have not had any period or
spotting since.
I have took two home preg tests both were
negative, one on 19th dec and one today
2nd jan, but have still been having
unprotected sex in between these dates.
I have been feeling sickly and have
abdominal cramps and a sore back as if
gonna start a period had these a few days
now but no period.
Last week I woke up with cramps in abdomin
I went really hot and dizzy thought was
going to pass out but these symptoms
passed after an hour or so.
Could I be pregnant and the home tests are
in accurate or will my period come and is
late due to coming off pill??? Please
help....

You could be late because you stoped
taking the pill. I missed a hole month
when I stoped taking my pill. But you
have been having unprotected sex. You
could wait and see what happens or if you
are worried then go to the doctor and get
a blood test done that is the only way you
are going to find out. Best wishes to

Thanks, it probably is stopping the pill,
its just the not knowing, I am bloated and
tired as well and just wish I knew either
way, I have phobias of needles so tend not
to haeblood took unless its an emergency,
I give it another couple of week then do
another test and if that is negative then
I take it as it being the pill stopping
periods.

Anytime you have unprotected sex and you
are not on birth control, which in your
case was stopping the pill, you run the
risk of getting pregnant.
You could be late because of stopping the
pill or you could be pregnant. The only
way you will for sure is to have a
bloodtest.

I'd wait. I hear of a lot of people who
are pregnant who tested for a month and
got negatives until the end of the month.
