Has Steriods Caused You Pancreatities? Posted: 03-19-06 18:50pm
I would like to know if anyone else has
had a bout with pancreatites while or
after under going treatment for asthma?
When I take prednisone or solumedrol, I
have sever pain on my left side of my
body. I have had re-occuring pancreatites
for over 10 years, but because it doesn't
always come up on blood work, the doctors
don't really think its pancreatites.
However, the pain is very distinict and I
know it is. It has been confirmed 5 times
by blood work and once by ct scan.
Is there any other way to diagnose it? Is
there any other way to treat it?
Also is there a diet that will help it,
other than starving your self?
To those on steriods don't stop taking it,
its rare side effect. Always take
steriods with food.
