i have been bulimic for about 5 years now
and it seems almost impossible for me to
get out of this cycle.
However, for the past 2 years I have
developed severe acne and it seems that no
medications seem to help or improve it.
Does bulimia cause acne??? Please
help!!

Yeah it would, because of the unbalanced
diet. Fruit does heaps to help acne,
would you be comfortable just eating like
an apple or a banana?

Hi strawberry23! You have to seek
profesional help as this is like a disease
and you do need the right help to get you
throght this as you will have more
problems then acne if you do not! Please
get help! Keep us posted!

Technically, its not scientifically proven
that food consumption be it healthy or bad
is linked to getting acne.
The reason you prolly getting acne is due
to the stress on yo ur body from bullemia,
i.E the damges to your heart, kidneys and
liver. Also, all that acid shooting out
your mouth might be splashing back,
hitting your face and irratating the skin.
