Breast Implants/pregnancy Posted: 01-02-04 19:19pm
I just had surgery with a breast
augmentation may of 2002.
I want to plan to have my second child in
august of 2004.
I am terrified I will hurt the baby and or
myself through this pregnancy.
Should I be worried? Any complications I
should look for?

I don't think there should be any
problems, assuming you aren't going to
breastfeed. Even if they do leak, they
are simply filled with saline and that is
not harmful for the baby

Implants And Pregant Posted: 01-27-04 16:21pm
I am 12 weeks pregant and I have implants
I have had them for 10 years not expecting
to have anymore.
I would like to breast feed my baby do
you think that this is a problem?
The implants are under the muscule wall
and I don't think they should affect my
milk.
Can you help me if you know?
Thanks

Not Sure On Breastfeeding Posted: 01-30-04 19:53pm
When I had my surgery, that was the first
thing I asked. My doctor said it should
be fine if I brestfeed. You might want to
call your doctor and ask. Good luck

You can still breastfeed if you have
implants...I would only be cautious if you
didnt have saline implants. The implants
don't really interfere at all!!
