Okay got a question how easy is it to contract meningitis??

My son was in the hospital with rsv brochiolitis hes only 5 weeks old and never had the vaccine yet or any for that matter, anyways he ended up in the hospital for a week. One of the parent I was talking too her son (room beside ours) had meningitis and he still needed a month of antibiotics to ge rid of it im so afraid my lil man may get this as the mother picked up my son(i didnt find out till later what her son had(during a smoke break) I asked hubby but hes isnt all that familiar with meningitis so was wondering what is the incubation period and is it possible that (the mom) could have been a carrier)?? How long does it take for symptoms to show?? You have to take into consideration my son had a weakened immune system during this period and the other mom was in contact with me for 5 days and my son 3.

I Don't Wanna Scare You
Last year my friend died from that it only took two days. She thought she had the flu. Everyone in our residence had to get a vaccine for it. Don't take this too lightly. Call the hospital where your son was and find out naturally if someone has this they are in corrientine (spelling) the mom probably already got at needle. I hope. Find out!
