A “nodule in the lungs” indicates a tumor in the lungs. Such a nodule must be determined either benign or malign. If the nodule has taken a central position in the lungs, it requires a bronchoscopy. If the nodule has taken a peripheral position, it requires a per-skin needle biopsy. Therapy will depend upon the histological results.
