Also, nettle contains vitamin a, too much
of which can cause birth defects.

I'm folkowing something called the gentle
birthing method, lots of stars (inc elle
mcphearson) have used it...
On it I have to have some teas from 12
weeks (to help the uterus) and one is
nettle leaf...Am worried now...Would this
not eb ok then from 12 weeks???
Please help!

I wouldn't take any herbals without
getting the okay from your obstetrician.
Better to be safe than sorry.
