Okay ppl of asian/mediterranean decent are sometimes born with mongolian spots which resemble bruises, anyways cam has a huge one on his but going up to his back. Three times I have been asked by nurses what it is (i know im caucasian but some ppl adopt kids) and when I was in emer I heard the dr mentioning calling child services, i'm really offended by this and was wondering if I should take a picture and have the dr sign it off as a mongolian spot so I dont get into caca again with cas. For those of who you dont know someone has already called cas on me and I had a full two week investigation done on me because I was accused of not feeding my daughter, neglecting my daughter as well leaving her with someone who isnt qualified nor capable of watching her(they accused hubby of being depressed) it was all bs but even then I cried everyday hoping they wouldnt take elisa away, ive been cleared but your file is always around!! Any ideas guys im kinda freaked out now being asked once wouldnt have bothered me but 3 times is alittle too much!! I was up for a promotion at work and someone got offended cause they thought they were better than me they called cas (this supposedly my friend/coworker) anywasy I found out she called cause she had a big mouth!!

Those people are ignorant they dont know what a mongolian blue spot is. My son has one too, its on his back and butt. Its babies from asian and african parents too. It disappears when they are a kid. I know a little african girl had a small one on her forehead, it went when she was 6. I dont think it should cause problems though, because its on his back/butt same as your sons, so its covered up usually. Only person going to see it is the health visitor when they weigh him. Doctors and nurses will be aware of what it is, and know it isnt a bruise.

Yeah well ud think they would know, the nurse even went to the point of having the dr push on it to see if it was a bruise cause the coloration would fade for sec (cam was in the hospital for a few days) anyways got the best news hes coming home so I dont have to deal with ignorant ppl anymore finally my lil man is coming home woohoo!!
