Hello,

i have had, for the past 1.5 weeks, something strange on my hand, where my knuckles are. At first, it was just dry skin. I applied some lotion, it did not help at all. The skin stayed dry and parched. Then I applied a hand salve (burts bees), and the skin began to 'break' and little cuts formed. The skin stung, and bled a little. Now the skin is a little scabby and there is a cut which is a bit deep. I have been bandaging it for a few days. I have absolutely no idea what this is - frostnip, windburn?

I live in a cold climate, but my hands are not often exposed to the cold wind (gloves, pockets)

i don't know if posting photos is allowed, but if it isn't, I will remove that photo.

Thanks. :d
