Q: Axiety & Panic Attack Medications

Hi, i'm new here, and am currently taking lorazapam (ativan) for my anxiety and panic attacks. I was told that this medication should not be used long term.

I am going to see my doctor next week and he will prescribe a new medication for me.

My fear is trying a new medication. I am worried sick about having some the the symptoms that may come with new medication.

Is anyone aware of medication that is not addictive and has little or no side effects?

Hey I wish there was a medication which has little or no possible side effects but they all do. For legal reasons they have to put everything which someone has experienced whilst on that particular medication.
I am currently taking propranolol.
I found that the thought of taking the medication and thinking of all the possiblke side effects in fact made me more anxious than I felt before. It is something you need to get around mentally, as hard as it is I am only 17 and this is the last thing I thought I would have to have dealt with. Please write back
