Hi! I'm new to here but anyway, I was wondering if any one could help me, I started to have the depo injection last june then again in august, this was my last one and since then I have ot had a period. I am sexuall y active and me and my husband would be happy if I conceived, but for 2 weeks my breasts have been really sore! Could this be a sign of pregnancy?
Thanx

U do know that doctors don't like women that are wanting to get pregnant real soon after there shot, to actually take the shot. I knew someone that only got the shot three times and it took her lil over a year just to have a normal period. They say it's not good to use the shot if u are wanting to get pregnant soon it can mess up ur fertlity??

It's possible that you are pregnant but it could also just be from you body trying to get back to normal after the depo. You may need to see your doctor to get something to get your cycle going again.

Thanx for that advice! Ive just been to the family planning clinic for a preggy test, but it showed negative. Beause my breasts are still really sore, she thinks I might be to early to tell wheather I am or not so she has booked me another appointment in 2 weeks, so fingers crossed! When I actually went on the depo injection, the nurse told me it was the best option as I was young (19) and had just started my first relationship, but I wasnt aware of the wait after u stopped having the injection, she told me within 3 months things would return to normal, which was good because I stopped in august and was getting married in november, so it would of worked well, but now my new doctors telling me I mite take upto 18 months if im not already pregnant!

Depo
Hi my name is kate I have been of depo since last oct and had a mc in november very very early though only bout 4/5 weeks and have been ttc ever since depo has messed me and many other women up and on average takes 2 years for your fertility to come back to normal there are the exceptions to this but on a whole the best thing you can do is either to lose weight as depo is stored in the fat cells or detox to get it out your systum quicker... I have been to over a dozen docs which have all said the same thing ....Im currently taking ovulex to see if this works to give me back my fertility
