Q: Water Makes Water Solluble Vitamins Go Away?

Hi,

recently I have had some need to drink lots of water.

Since I also take all the vitamin b-complex through beer yeast, I worry that all the b vitamins will be gone.(by following the water i've "digested").

If we say I take my b-vitamins at 8 o'clock morning and then drink lots of water, later I go to toilet at 9 o clock and 9:45 o clock, do you think the b-vitamins have left my body, or at least about 95% of them have left it?

[the two times I visited the toilet means that the water I drink leaves my body.]

No I don't think the b vitamins are gone...Read somewhere they last for approximately 8 hours and then you can resupplement it. I guess how long they truly last will depend on many factors including the health of the individual, how good their digestive system is, etc. The b's are good for the liver and helping the body deal with stress. One thing you'll notice when you start taking b vitamins is that your urine will turn bright yellow and this is perfectly normal. :)

Ok, thanks for the reply.

Do you think that the yellow is just the color, and not really the b-vitamins themselves?

The b vitamins make the urine turn that bright yellow.
