Hiv Worries

Hi,
just over 4 weeks ago I was very drunk and ended up having sex with a female sex worker, I cant remember that much about it but I am very concerned that it may have been unprotected, I remember saying that I wanted a condom on and she said it was on I took her word for it.
But im still not convinced that we did use one I have a horrible feeling we didn't because I cant recall removing it afterwards it was very dark so icouldn't really see any way.
2 weeks later I developed a chest infection but didn't think anything of this as everyone else in my house had it, the chest infection went after a week but since then I have been left feeling achy weak sweating at night.
Im very worried taht I may have caught something and it could be hiv, nobody else in the house has the same symptoms.
I realise I was stupid and have never done anything like that before and doubt if I will again.

Symptoms don't mean a thing when it comes to hiv. Since you don't know if a condom was used or not test 13 week past your last possible exposure.

It is more than likely that a sex worker would use a condom for her own protection.

But yes, since this situation is uncertain, test at 13 weeks.
