Q: Are Anitbiotics Safe????!?!?!!!!!

Active User, very eHealthy

I have been having serious acne problems, and I went to the dermatologist..... She knew I was trying to conceive but she put me on doxycycline and gave me a face wash and a cream.... I read on the label of the doxycyline pill bottle that you should not take it if you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant.... What should I do????

I think those anti acne pills control your hormons and therefore you won't produce too much oil gland. Some are actually contraceptive similar. I don't think you should take it. Maybe you would like to consult the gynea
