Q: Could It Be Time??

I am 38.5 weeks. Last week I was almost fully effaced & 1cm dialated. One of my doctors told me I could go any day, while the other doctor talked about the possibility of this little guy not arriving until the 41st week. Does anyone with any experience have an opinion?? This is my first child. I have a feeling he will be late, but every single person who sees me....Every person, insists that he will not make it to march 25th. I guess only time will tell, although I am becoming extremely anxious! Any input is appreciated. Oh yeah yesterday morning, I woke up with stretch marks....Ugh!

Isn't it weird how they show up .O.V.E.R.N.I.G.H.T?!?!?! They're actually there for a while, they just don't become visible until they are stretch to their full capacity!! I didn't have not one stretch mark on my body until my 30th week and I swear they spread like wild fire!!! I'm an estitician and deal with the skin, for me, this is an outrage and disguisting...But it's mother nature. When your body stretches past it's limit, the skin stretches, no matter how much lotion you apply. I am an avid user of coca butter massage cream, and it does reduce the appearance, it could never cease stretchmarks from happening....So don't feel bad, you're not alone!!
