Well it has never happened to me but i'm sure anything is possible. I would ask the advice of your mom or someone close to you that may have had it happen to them. I think you might even be able to call your local pharmacy and ask them?

It is possible to be late or skip a period on your birth control.
I would consider a lot of factors like have you missed pills/ how long have you been on your pill/ any chances of pregnancy? Stress levels/ eating right. There are so many factors that can cause a skipped period besides pregnancy.
However, unless if you can think of another factor I would take a home pregnancy test just to be sure.

Maybe
I took birth control pills after I had my son...(and that was after trying the patch...Which was not a good experience for me)...And it caused me to have weight gain, missed periods, and spotting in btwn my periods. I was told that these are common symptoms of taking the pill, although to be sure and if ur really worried, talk to ur gyn Dr. The pill has a different affect on different people....But I did experince missed periods, and a drastic change in my cycle.
Go and see ur dr, just to be sure thats whats bothering u.
