11 Days Post-op, Some Bleeding Posted: 03-12-06 13:44pm
I am 11 days post-op an for the last 2
days I have been having some bleeding, its
not alot an its not all the time. I have
been really good at not doin anything i'm
not suppost to be doin. The only thing I
have been doin is walking around the yard
(not for along period of time), it seems
to help with some of the pain I have an
helps me from getting that stiff pulling
feeling. I was just wondering if this is
normal after a hysterectomy or should I
call my doctor????

i had a total hysterectomy 2 and 1/2 weeks
ago. I have been bleeding every now and
then. It will stop and clear up to a
light discharge then a few days later, I
bleed again. My Dr. Says I may have
over-done it and to rest. I have been
taking it real easy and not doing anything
too physically demanding. But from what I
have been told, its your bodys way of
telling you to take it easy or it could be
stitches disolving. I go back to see the
Dr. In a week and a half. It still
worries me too though.
