Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

My period is usually 30 to 31 days every month. My husband and I are trying to have a baby and we used the ovulation method for the month of feb to try and find out when the best time to get pregnant would be. So we followed the instructions for the ovulation method and hoped for the best. Today is not the 11th of march and I am now 5 days late for my period. I took a clear blue digital preg test last night and it said that I am pregnant. I took the 2nd clear blue test a few hours later and it also said I am pregnant. This morning, however, I took a ept digital and both of them said that I am not pregnant. I then took a first response around 2pm today and it also said not pregnant. I did have some brown spotting a few days before I was supposed to start my period, and I have read that may be a sign of being pregnant as well.

So the signs point both directions. I just feel that there is a chance that the negatives showed up because the hormone level wasn't high or something. I just think that if 2 tests say positive, they must have found the hcg hormone yesterday.

What does everybody else think? Thanks.

False positives are rare, false negatives can happen. Wait a few days and test again, or go to the doctor and have a blood test done.
Good luck, and I hope you've conceived!

Thanks for the reply. I'll test again soon and post the results here. If there is anybody else with similar situations or comments they are welcome. Thanks again.

Just wanted to let everybody know that I started my period yesterday. So I guess that positve doesn't always mean yes. :-(

Not necessarily some women still have their periods while they are pregnant you should get a blood test just to b sure since even tho its not harmful to the baby your docs might want to monitor you more closely just to keep things safe

Just screw like bunnies whenever you feel like it instead of trying to time things. It's more fun, better for your relationship if this takes a while and it's not like it hurts your chances, is it?
