Hi sweetie,
i am sorry for the confusing info...Let me explain

if you have 18 or more consecutive high temperature about the ovulation temp with no signs of period, it is almost alwasy an indication of pregnancy. The systained high temp are caused by the contrinual relaease of progestrone from the corpus luteum.
Ovulation temp should be around 98 deg and higher temp around 98.4 average...Hope this help gal.

Signs to Watch Out
Posted: 03-11-06 10:25am

Hi gal,

it may differ from woman to woman, but in general, some do get implantation bleeding. This occurs around 10 days after ovulation period. And next, they will feel hot, like hot flushes for at least 10 days. Sore breasts, tiredness, freq to toilet and of course, they missed their period.
How many days have you missed your period?

you should be around .5 to .8 degrees higher than normal. I checked mine within 5 days of ovulation--since I thought I was pregnant, and mine was like .7 degrees higher. I am normally 97.6 though. So I seen 98.3-- I believe it was ---i checked for many days and it remained between 98.1 and 98.3.

Thanks for the info, I am now 6 days late...For the past 2 days I have been having a problem with my acid reflexes. I couldnt get to sleep friday night as I felt like I had heart burn or something, for no reason! I have decided if I still have no period by friday to do a test! My partner and I really want a baby!

Hazel gal,

listen here, ur symptoms sound positive... U have also missed ur period. So it is alright to test now...

If u r planning to test later, when would that be... We will wait for ur results. Remember everybody is ttc for a baby...... And we all understand how it feels to have a negative result...

But if u feel pregnant, then y wait... Get the burden off ur head n do the test when u r ready......

Just drop us a word of the result. No matter what the result is, we r here for u...

Take care dear.

Hazel gal babe, I agree with lovablepetsworld. We grouse about it when we were neg last cycle..And now we are going to do preg test together...
It is good if you detect early so that you can take some folic acid as it is good for baby. And you can go to gynea for a check...We'll be here, promise!
