i am 26 years old and my cycle is on a regular 24-26 day cycle. my last 1st day of my period was on February 7th. i have taken 2 tests and they both come out negative. should i go and have a test at the clinic or should i wait a few days to see if i get my period just in case it is stress related. i am not sure if i am nervous or what but i get butterfly feelings in my stomach which make me feel sick. Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A601
According to your data you should have had your period around the 3rd of March; your period is about a week late. A late period is the first sign of a possible pregnancy. It is an unreliable sign, however, and needs to be confirmed. If pregnancy tests results are consistently negative, you are probably not pregnant. Reasons for lack of menstruation can be numerous but most often are related to physical stress and/or a hormonally active ovarian cyst. You can go immediately to your gynecologist for an ultrasound examination of the ovaries.
