I am a 35 year male suffering from abdominal and back pain for six month. The pain comes and goes. I don’t have it almost at all at night.
It is mainly located in the right upper quadrant, right flank and right side of the back. I also have it but not very often in the left side of abdomen and flank. It moves in time of few minutes from front to back or left to right.
I am not constipated or with diarrhea but I noticed that my stool is flat. In the beginning it is round shaped and firmer (for four – five inches in length, one inch diameter) than continues softer, flat and twisted (one inch width, half of inch wide).
I had done the following: complete blood work (cbc, liver, thyroid, pylori), urine, abdominal ultrasound, abdominal ct scan, upper gi series, chest, abdomen and pelvis x-ray, spine x-ray. Everything come back normal.
The doctors couldn’t give me any answers.
I went to an osteopath who told me that I have the colon and small intestine irritate and the ileocecal valve shut. He told me that especially the right colon is very rigid and irritate.
What do you think I should do further ? Could it be ibs ? I am worried about colon cancer. Should I have a colonoscopy done ?
