Sammy001,

i just spoke with my sister and her little skoot did the same thing that your's did. She played the games he played for a while but then our mother told her that what she did with us was finally let us cry ourselves to sleep. It came down to her not getting any sleep and she had to go to work the next morning. So I would say that if he is (not sure how old) like 9months-2years old that would be the thing to do. My sister said that it took about a week for little jonathan to finally just lie down and go to sleep. He would cry and cry the first night, and a little less the next night and less and less as the week went on. If he does cry excessivly check on him to make sure he isn't hurting himself crying too hard.

Just a thought since they locked the other post I would post a new one.

Hope this helps.
