I was om effexor for a long time and I was like a zombie all the time. My skin is very sensitive anyways but I found out when I would stress over something I would break out. People just call it stress bumps. But on effexor it just seemed worse. I don't know if thats your case but if want to talk about it just pm me or email me.

Any chance you are allergic to the medicine? Itching is a possible sign of an allergy. Call your doctor and if he can't talk to you, ask for the nurse or his voice mail. Anyhow get the message to him that you think you might be having an allergic reaction to the meds and describe your symptoms.

In the meantime, try the aveeno oatmeal bath or some of the other over the counter products that help relieve itching.
