Q: On Provera And Positive Ovulation Test! Please Someone Help!

I am taking a 10 day supply of 10mg of provera to induce a period due to a long cycle. Last night after I had taken my 2nd pill I took an ovulation test and it was positive! What do I do? Do I keep taking the provera or do I stop it? Would stopping it force a mentrual flow? Would taking it help with my lengthening my luteal phase? I don't know what to do please someone help! Thanks

I think u should stop provera and have sex since u r ovulating? U r planning for a baby right? Then having sex during the ovulation period is a must. Thats why u r taking the provera to make the period come and so u can ovulate again...

So ovulation is here, just make use of it... Then wait n see the results in 2 weeks time before deciding to take provera again...

This is what I would do... But if u r uncomfortable, seek a doc advice.

Take care.

Please call your doctor and discuss with him what has happened. It will put your mind at ease speaking with your doctor or nurse.

Good luck.
