Anyone out there can help?

How does one know that they have finished the ovulation period?

My doc says that my fertile days are 6/3, 8/3 & 10/3 2006. I had sex on the 6/3 but when I checked the ovulation kit on the 8/3 it said negative.

On the 6/3 my egg follicle was 20mm, so the doc told me that the egg will release that nite.

Does that mean my ovulation is over and that's why I got a negative result on the 8/3?

Please reply!

Thanks in advance!

Hey there!
I am not sure if my message got posted...But anyway to answer your question...

Usually people test around the 11 days after their period to find out when they ovulate. Once they detected that is positive, then they stop. That day will be ovulation day or you re going to ovulated in the next 24 hrs. But if you cont. The test it will revert to neg again. The test kit is basically detecting the surge in lh when you ovulate. The surge will only last for a day or two. I will be testing again tonight.

You should test it on the 5 and 6 march. But since you didn't you can try testing it today, 9 and 10/3 for your next egg release.

Hope this helps
