Possibly a Repeat Episode of Kidney Stones, UTI Posted: 03-08-06 22:30pm
I have a cronic pain on my right lower
stomach, about three inches up from pelvic
bone towards hip. It usually occurs in the
morning when my kidneys are full but does
not go away after urination and lasts up
to 3 hours. But it does come during the
day or even at night, but not as often. I
do know that I have two ureter tubes on
one side of my body that lead to one
kidney, and just the one on the other
side, I don't remember which side has the
two. I have a history of UTI and Kidney
stones and infections but have not had one
in 3 yrs. My kidneys do not hurt, OBGYN
has found nothing out of ordinary which
reproductive organs. The pain has been
occuring for atleast one year. Sometimes
feels pulsating.
There is a possibility that your
pre-existing conditions (UTI and kidney
stones) have repeated themselves again.
You can visit your doctor to request
blood/urine analyses and an abdominal
ultrasound. People with 2 ureter tubes on
one side are vulnerable to urinary
infections because one of the two ureters
is usually malfunctional (vesico-ureteral
reflux).
