I am a 30 year old female. I have not had any serious health inguries or issues. However, for the last 4-5 years I have been getting stomach pains immediately after I eat. They do not happen everytime, usually in the morning or early afternoon. They only last for about 10 minutes, but are pretty intense and either make me run to the bathroom or want to lie down because I become very flushed.
I am assuming it is just my stomach reacting to the food, but I usually eat really well. Very little meat, organic items if I can afford it, lots of greens (beats, sprouts, etc) and try to eat very little processed foods. It really doesn't matter what the food is, I always seem to get the same feeling.
Lately, about once every 3 weeks, I actually have to take off a day, or go home from work early because I am running to the toilet so frequently. (explain that with a straight face to your boss).
I have a cup of coffee every morning, but have been trying to substitute tea instead.
I smoke, but not more than one until the evening, after work.
I current do not have health insurance, so I am trying to understand what this could be in the mean time until I can afford a insurance policy.
Any ideas what this may be or how I can lessen the occurrences?
Thank you.
