Hi im 38 with a problem of the throat ive had since last yr. Around march april time it started with little pain around my throat which felt more on the outside than in inside of my throat the pain which I can only describe as a pain which didnt hurt..
Sounds daft I know which followed a roughness in the bottom of my throat and later a lump under my adams applle and below which at first came and went. The glands at the top of my neck under my jaw to me was enlarged the dr said I just had enlarged glands but the one on the left sseamed to hurt a little when I touched it but the lump in my throat comes and goes but more stays now I hope u can follow. Ive seen a dr 3 times from my surgery and he put it down to smoke irratation which I then gave up but the problem didnt ive been to the hospital 2 times they have told me they cant find any lumps in my throat or any signes of cancer. But my mind wont let go that there is something realy wrong to have this problem this long its worse when I wear t-shirts or when the collor catches my throat feels like its pressing into my neck and making the lump worse sometimes little pains or pain like feelings which dont hurt around my right side and my left drs have checked my thyroid and the first test shown was abnormal the second was ok then a third showd nothing. Now im being referd to a e.N.T which now scares me as I think he might find something worse my dr has tried to reasure me that if I had cancer I would have been dead by now but it doesnt stop the worry other problems I have is esophagial reflux if thats how u spell it im sorry for any spelling mistakes can anyone tell me if they have had the same symptoms and wot it was cause its realy depressing me now
