Q: Am I Pregnant?

Okay I came off bc begining of jan. I had a period jan. 27th til the 30th. And then I had another one feb 6th and 7th. Then on the 18 of feb I ovulated according to cm. That week before and after I ovulated we had sex every other day. Well my thing is i'm not forsure when my other period was suppost to come and I have alot of syptoms pointing to pregnancy ( sore boobs, darkening of the arelo, morning sickness, gaining a lil weight, headaches, and a lil cramping not too much) I tested last w/e, but it was negitive. So my question is what do ya'll think, my doc appointment isn't until the 21st and I don't know if I can wait that long. And is there any way I can figure out when my period was suppost to start according to when I ovulated?? Anything well help. And thanks to whoever can help!!!

Ohh and I forgot to add I get a nasty taste in my mouth sometimes. They say a metlic taste is also a sign of pg, but i'm not forsure if that's the kind of tast I am experincing. Please someone help

If you know when you ovulated then subtract two weeks and that should give you what should have been the first day of your last menstrual period....

I know when my last period was, it was the feb. 6 and 7th. B/c it was very heavy. According to cm I ovulated the 18th. Of feb. My question was, is there any way I can figure out when my next period should have started???

If you have a 28 cycle just count 28 days from the first day of the lmp. That'd be like march 6 or 7.

I took a test on the 4th, using fmu and the test was negitive. Could it have been wrong??? Should I take another one or should I just wait til I go to the doc.? And can anyone describe that metlic taste some people get, all I know is that I get this really nasty taste in my mouth a couple of times a day. I sure in the world didn't have no syptoms of pregnancy when I got pregnant with my lil boy. Now I have the worst "morning sickness" except it comes at night.

Well, morning sickness is a misnomer. It's just basically any time of the day sickness. And if I were you I would give it a few more days and then test again.

My question now is what test to u think I should u use and which is the best? And which is best peeing on the hpt on in a cup?? I hate the waiting game. I wish something would happen.

I would wait for about a week then take another test.. I took the ept certainty and it simply said pregnant or not pregnant and I took 3 all one after the other and all 3 came up pregnant. I peed on the stick, it worked fine for me.

"after ovulation, your cervix will drop lower in your vagina and feel firm, like the tip of your nose. During pregnancy, the cervix will rise a bit and become softer, but the timing of this happening will vary from woman to woman. For some, this will happen shortly before their period is due, but for other, this will not happen until quite a while after their pregnancy has been confirmed."

Hi! I've heard that the metallic taste is similar to the taste of blood. I think that's the best description. As for your test...Yeah...I'd say testing on the 4th isn't gonna be accurate. Do you know the average length of your cycles?...From start of one period to start of the next one? The average as someone mentioned is 28...But women do go 21 to 30 or more days between cycles. The more sensitive tests can give an accurate result 4 days before your period is due. However...Everyone's different and I have seen some women go weeks and even months (rare cases) before their bodies produces enough hcg to be detected by a hpt. I hope this helps. just noticed this. You're better to invest in a brand name test like clear blue etc... Also as I have learned from experience...Peeing in a cup is so much more reliable (as long as the test says you can use this method and gives instructions as such). I actually ruined a test trying to poas because pee dropped on result window and seeped in and dye ran everywhere!!! I was sooo mad!!

I tested 2 days after my period was suppose to come. And I baught the cheapest tests too. They were the equate brand and they both showed up .

I think I paid like 5 bucks for 2 thats what I used and if it were any darker it wouldve benn purple!

A 2 pack of equate costs only $2 less than a 2 pack of first response. So I always just went with the first response. And you can test with first response earlier. Though after my "is it or isn't a line?" ordeal, i'd suggest waiting until you're at least a day late.

If uve got line reading issues like boston (only kidding) get the one that clearly says pregnant or not this is a big deal lfor you u can splurge a lil :)

I have not taken another test, i'm waiting til I go to the doctor on the 21st. I can't wait. And as for the metlic taste, now that u say it taste like blood I like that is the taste I was getting. All I know is that it is nasty. And as for my cycles I donno because I came off of b/c in jan.

Hi there I had a period on the 10th of feb I thought I ovulated around the 20th of feb had unprotected sex on the 24 and 25th feb my last 2 cycles have been 28 days but this one is 32 so far so I am in the same situation as you
