So today is still one of my fertile days but I seem to not have that much cm for some reason. Is there a way I can increase my cm for conceiving thanks.

Are you sure you're ovulating? I thought I was just by counting the days, but there wasn't that much cm. We weren't trying, so we use condoms at that time, but stopped using condoms afterward and the time we stopped I was actually ovulating then and not two weeks before like I thought and i'm 6 weeks pregnant. I don't know why, but I ovulated 30 days after my first day of my cycle instead of like 14 or whatever it is.

I don't really get the whole cm thing. Is this something you find by sticking your finger up there or should it be coming out on it's own like discharge?

Checking Cervic Mucus...
It's something like u stick ur 2 clean fingers in and pull out. When u seperate the fingers u can tell what type of cervic mucus u have.

If ur fingers seperate easily apart, not fertile time.
If ur fingers seperate and u can see milky eggy white muscus, that's the best.
If ur fingers seperate with clear, watery feeling, u r going to ovulate in few days time.

So it works something like that.

Well if it's supposed to come out like discharge, maybe everyone is different. I'd heard about cm and I was on the lookout for it when I was trying but nothing ever came out. So maybe it's not all that important?

But I think it's hard to tell from the cervic mucus, becoz I have tried that method last year with the charting of basal temp........ I really couldn't tell the difference.

So maybe it's not that important.

I have read that not every woman has the cm discharge. So I wouldn't go on that alone. I don't usually ovulate at day 14 since I tend to have longer cycles. I think mine is usually at day 18-20. I am on cd11 today and am going to start opks on the 14th and use them until I get a positive.

Checking Cm
The presence of or absence of cm is different for each person. It actually varies for me from month to month. One month I notice a definate change and the next month it stays the same all month long. I have tested two months with opks and each month was different but I was still ovulating. I don't think that checking for cm works well for everyone, but hey you have to start somewhere I guess.

I Was Told That Cm Is Different For Everyone!
Some people have very little and others have really heavy constant cm(this would be me). When I was a teen I thought there was something wrong with me, because I always had cm. So, it's something to talk to your doctor about and they can help you chart your bodies flow of cm.
