Q: I Told My Mom

I told my mom, she took it pretty well. When I told her I said "i really need to move out... I have to" and she looked at me weird and was like "why" so I put my hand on hers and was like "your going to be a grandma" she looked at me shocked and said "your pregnant... Your serious?" and then we talked about it for awhile. (this was all done in dq) and when I said something about my friends being supportive and saying they will babysit if I need it she was like "no!!!! My baby!!!" so I think shes excited and right b4 we left she was like "wow.. A grandma" it was pretty nice..
She also offerd if shawn gets kicked out he can live with her, and if I get kicked out or get stressed out here I can move in and sleep on her couch for abit

Yeah we are going to tell, I have to tell my family with him there, and he has to tell his family with me there. Im really excited about all of this, expect telling my family, they're going to kill shawn. Good thing shawn drive though because iplan on telling my family during spring break so if they flip out I can leave for abit and let them think about it for awhile... My mom seems to be excited about it cept now she is talking about me seeing a counciler so I have someone to talk to about it, and I told her I rather talk to my family and friends rather then to some stranger who is going to think im a promiscuous person.. I told my mom I want to take parenting classes however,so that way I understand what to do in certain times or what to do if the baby is in danger.

I'm glad everything went well for you. I told my parents too but they aren't taking it so good.....My mom cried alot and my dad was really mad. I have been hiding out in my room hoping they get over it soon.

Oh_mommy....
Are u an only child? If ur not, are you going to be the 1st one to have a baby in ur family? Cuz thats pretty understandable. If I end up pregnant, im going to have to tell my mom. When my older sister got pregnant when she was 16, my mom cried alot and my step-dad kicked her out. After a couple of days, my mom made her come back and it was their when she told them she was pregnant. My mom cried and all so, im guessing that if I tell my mom now, she's not going to be that hurt since she already went through that!! So, hopefully the same thing dosent happen with me!! :|
