I just started charting this month. I am using fertilityfriend.Com. It is free to use if you choose just the basic service. I doesn't actually tell you before you ovulate but after charting for a couple of months you can get a good estimate of when you will be ovulating each month. I know quite a few people from anther board who have used this to get pregnant. Your temp dips when you ovulate and then stays high until your af comes unless you are pregnant than it stays high. I think if you do get pregnant you can sometimes see a dip in temp during implantation.

I thought I would try it since my cycles are crazy. We'll see if it helps.

Hi sweetie,
i think for us basal temp monitoring is not good cos we have pcos. But of course, you can try. I read that b'cos of our cycle was irregular therefore the pattern of the temp chart is nt accurate.

For a normal person, you can tell if you ovulate by looking at the steep rise in temp. If through out the month, your temp is flucutating then you may not ovulate that month.

Hope this help gal.

U r very right.

I see the temp doing a boogie dance... Not constant. So I actually went and bought the ovulation kit today. I am going to test it now so that I know if I am ovulating or not...

Ok updates!
The test was negative so I am not ovulating today I guess.... Is there a chance that I have already ovulated and that's why the test is negative? Or have not ovulated yet.....

Hey, I tested lsat night and it is positive, I am ovulating. So last night we did the baby dance. This morning when I tested again, it also showed double line. I take it as I will be ovulating within 24 hrs.

What type of ovulating test kit you are using? Is the the urine type ones. You can only test at certain hrs. Like from 10 am -8 pm. Don't drink 2 hrs before you test and you'll get better results. Hope this help.

To debbie gal,

i was using the 'use urine type of test' for checking ovulation... But it read negative. So am not ovulating...

But could I have ovulated earlier? Is there a chance?

Hey gal,

you may want to try another test again. Cos you have multiple ov periods/days. There's another chance for another egg.

Ok, can I suggest that you go and see the gynea now to check if the eggs are still there. This is to be doubly sure.

I went to see the gynea on the 6/3 and he told me that I will ov on the 8/3. So, you may want to see him again to check the eggs.

Dear debbie,

where are u? I need advice. Yesterday my opk had a big fat clear negative.
Today I have 2 lines. But the 2nd line is lighter than the first. Could that mean tomm when I test again, it might be a big fat clear positive???

Anxious to know... Never had a positive opk before...

Don't Drink Water Before Test
To lovablepetsworld

hey gal, I would suggest that you take another test. You could have ovulated on the 6 march and ovulating today again on 10march, friday. Do remember not to take water 2 hrs before the test.

Hi gal,
is the pain persistent or it comes in once while? Bearable pain? You want to call in to ask your gynea. I would if I am unsure...

Ok, I just realised that I get hungry quite often.....Piggin out.
Gal, you have to take care, and should not fall ill.

Hi sweetie,
no I am not taking medication, not even folic acid.
I planned to test only when I missed my period. My period will start on the 23 march is I am not pregnant.
My sixth sense tells me that I am not pregnant this time round. I just don't feel anything....
What about you? When you doing hpt test?
