I would highly recommend finding a good chiropractor. They have the best record on lower back pain treatment

If your regular doctor thinks that there is something going on with your spine, you should see a spine specialist for a full evaluation.

Either an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines.

I would forget about the chiropractor and head straight to the MD that is trained in medical diagnosis of the spines.

I have seen and heard of far too many people who have spent time with chiropractors and either where trapped into continued visits for years on end for no real good reason and still not properly treated,

OR

the chiropractor made their spinal issues worse.

Good luck and see a spinal specialist as soon as you can
