Q: I Have a Problem. What Would You Do?

Hey. I just came across this forum and i'm glad I did because I could use some advice. I took a pregnancy test 4 days ago and it was positive. That's not the problem though. The problem is, my mom announced to the family last weekend that she's pregnant. So... Oh my word. What do I do? I haven't told my parents or boyfriend about my baby. It's kind of complicated now, isn't it? I don't have any idea how far along i'd be, but i'd guess about a month. So... What are my options and what do you suggest I do?

You need to read up on all your possible options...... Abortion, adoption and to raise him yourself. Nobody can tell you what you should do, you need to educate yourself first!

Go see your doctor!

Good luck!

I think that would b so cool! If your babies were the same sex they could share clothes! My sis was 2 when I had my baby so I get the whole closeness thing. Your babys aunt or uncle wil only be a few months older. I think if you dont see your pregnancy as a problem (i assume that means you are keeping it) than this isnt a bad thing it could b like a bonding experience cuz you and your mom will b going through some of the same stuff. Good luck and if ya wanna chat my aim sn is macysmama204 and thats also my email aol maybe im jsut weird but I dont see a real issue with it. Theyll b able to play together! My cousin is 5 months older than my sis and they play all the time its to cute my mom was worried about raining on my aunts parade cuz it was her first and my moms 3rd but I think the only thing better than one baby is 2!

Is your mom actually pregnant or did she know and cover for you? Cause otherwise I dont see a problem either.

Well then whats the problem, I sugest telling your mom first, moms normally take it the best, you two could have a double babyshower and everything to save money and share things. Well just tell your mom in some way that is sligh.. Like "i cant believe im going to be a sister soon, just like you are going to be a grandma!!!" lol I dont know

I think that would be really weird! Going through pregnancy, and having a baby the same time as your mum.
I think you should tell your boyfriend first, decide what your plan is, keeping it or what etc.

that's exactly what I thought too! When that big old positive came up on my test I was like, "oh my god. My life is a comedy film."

i talked to my boyfriend today and i'm going to tell my mom when she gets home. I think it's going to be okay. I can only hope, right?

Well, she took it really well. She didn't even seem to be bothered by it. And her boyfriend thinks it's great too. I still don't really know if it's such a great thing, but as long as they're not mad, I guess it's got to be okay.

It's not so bad. Don't worry about it. Being pregnant can be lots of fun!

Anyone know why we can't post our emails anymore? I tried to post mine and it said not to post it publicly... What's with that?

It's Not That Bad....
One of my best friends is 21 and her aunt is 17. In school I always heard how she hung out with her aunt all the time so im thinking she has a really cool aunt but when I seen her for the first time I was like are you sure thats not your cusin or something she's so young. Its krazy at first but cool once you think about it. My friends mom ended up giving her mom all her maternity clothes. How werid would that be?
