Hi!! In july I told my Dr. That I was having a few mild pains on the left side of me chest. He did an ekg which showed I had had a heart attack. He didn't believe I had. I was sent for the test that showed my calcium buildup score which was normal for my gender (female) and age (49). I was then sent for a stress test which was good other than a slight buildup of plaque in the rt. Artery. I was put on pravachol for high cholesteral. I was then sent to a cardiologist so that he could go over the stress test with me. Once again an ekg was done. It also showed a heart attack. I was then given an echocardiogram which was perfectly normal. The cardiologist said that everything was fine and my heart looked great. About a month ago my pains on the left side began to increase. They are not bad, just very annoying. Last week, heart burn increased dramaticallyand I began to feel a fluttering in my chest. This leaves me with a weird feeling. Went to the er and everything checked out fine. Ekg was great and all blood work was great. I saw my pcp and he feels it may be anxiety. Anyone have a comment? I cannot lead my life this way. I'm scared all day. I'm afraid something has been missed.
