Q: Anyone Use Nuvaring?

I'm thinking about trying the nuvaring. I don't have any trouble remembering to take my pill, I just get worried about different things that lower its effectiveness like medications and throwing up. Sometimes I drop one and it takes me forever to find it. They're just too complicated sometimes. I was wondering if any of you have used or is using the nuvaring and waht's your opinion on it. It seems really easy to use and convenient.

Yes, I have been using the nuvaring for a few months. Since november I believe. I love it! My sex drive is better than when I took the pill and I have little to no bloating or cramping. I do have more discharge throughout the month but that's not a bother for me. My fiance doesn't usually feel it when we have sex but it seems to depend on the position. But I can take it out for up to three hours and it will still work.

No, I haven't, but I would suggest to also take the idu in consideration. (idu - the little "t" in your uterus.) i've been having it for a while now and I absolutely love it! Me and my fiance don't feel it at all! You can have it in you for up to 5 yrs. And you never have to worry about it. It only made me bleed a little in between period for the first 2-3 mths, and after that, now my period is much lighter. I forget I even have it!

that sounds great, i'll have to do some research on that. How much does it cost?

Nuvaring And Long Period

I started the nuvaring this month and my period is normally 6 days, however, I have had it now for ten! Should I stop or is this like breakthrough bleeding?

Don´t worry about that. In the first month I used nuvaring it was the same for me, but my doctor told me that it´s normal, your body needs some time for "adaptation" (he told me about 3 months). This is my second month, my period is shorther and not so painful...So for me this is a good choice. :)

How long are the side effects suppose to last for Nuvaring?

ive been on nuvaring for about 2 months, and i just feel sick randomly, and it really sucks. Ive almost thrown up a few times. How long will the nausea last for? Im ready to get off of birth control and get my tubes tied! Ughh.
