Tndwither...Welcome! It is so nice to meet you!
First off, a lot of lupus patients are diagnosed during or just after a pregnancy. It is speculated to be due to hormones...A lot of women with lupus complain of the disease becoming more active with their menses and hormone changes.
As for the new doctor's evaluation, did you ask why? If so, what did they say? What tests are being used as the basis for change? I, personally, would want a detailed list. If you would like a list of tests to request (in case you have not done so yet)...Private e-mail me and i'll give you a pretty comprehensive list.
As always, you can get another opinion. See if they suggest the same thing...Especially if this new diagnosis makes you feel uncomfortable.
Hugs,
