Visual Perception When Trying to Fall Asleep Posted: 03-06-06 16:46pm
When your mind is clear of all thought,
what do you your eyes perceive when you
close your eyes at night? Remember that
your mind must be clear of all thought and
excludes external visual stimuli (tv, lamp
or nite lite on, etc.) and
headache-related visual anomalies (aurora,
etc.).

Hmm Heres a Better Question Posted: 04-04-06 22:42pm
Well maybe not better, but what would you
rather see? For me it would be total
darkness

For me, that was totally dark but
sometimes, there are flash or some white
hole moving when I closed my eye.
Sometimes, there will be kinds of colors
water moving.. So strange.

I see sparks and bright colors... It's
hard for me to fall asleep, but then again
I have post concussion syndrome, so it's
probably from the migraines that come with
that. I hope it doesn't become a long
term thing.

I would love to see total darkness! The
only thing is, I see quite the opposite
(check out "i see skittles" in this
forum). Using this poll, i'm just trying
to get an idea of how many other people
out there have the same problem I do.
Doctors say that it is definitely not
normal.
