Ok, so I am trying yet another bc pill cause I have been getting nauseaus and bloated the week after my peroid and continues on till my next period, so I would only have one week where I felt somewhat "normal". So now my Dr. And I decided to try the errin progestin only pill and I am to take them continuously, so does this mean I wont have a period?? Because in the phamphlet that comes with the pills it says I may have irregular and light periods, but I thought the progestin only is supposed to stop your period?? And my Dr. Told me I can start my pills tomorrow, and I don't have to wait till I get my period next week to take them, but in the phamphlet it says if you are switching from combo pills to the progestin only pills you should start them on the day after you take your last active pill. I tried calling my Dr. About these questions, but I probably won't get a call back till tomorrow, so can anyone maybe answer my question now if you know?? Thanks, kelly j.

Yes on errin there are no placebos, so you take them continuously. Take them the same time everyday, within about an hour, it is crucial you do this.

The "mini pill" as it is called does not regulate periods like combo pills do, so you will have some irregular spotting and bleeding throughout your first month most likely. Many women on the mini pill have their periods just like ususal, you just happen to not be taking any placebos. The mini pill works a bit differently than other pills, that is why you take them everyday.

Im on the mini pill cerazette and no it doesnt make u miss a period. Its the same becoz it doesnt stop u ovulating like the combined pill. Its not supposed to have as many side effects however as this is my first ever pill.. Ive had most of them... Depression, weight gain, bigger boobs, headaches and bloatedness. However ive also been having spotting.... Yesterday and 2day iam bleeding even tho I came off my period last firday.... I can only assume its breakthrough bleeding as my last period lasted 2 weeks nearly. Xxx

Hello, since I last posted on this topic, I have stopped the pill. It was making me real sick and so bloated I thought I might have been pregnant. It has been abut two weeks since I stopped all hormones and I am starting to get better, im not as bloated and the nauseau and tiredness is getting better, the headaches are almost gone. But now I face the consequences of no hormones as I have already had a ovarian cyst rupture and it hurt bad for about a day, I have not had a period yet though, so as far as that whole situation goes I cannot comment yet, so I am still kinda nervous what the would be like as far as pain and heaveyness of bleeding from the adenomyosis that I was orrigionally taking the hormones for. Good luck to every one else on the pill and I hope it gets better. Kelly

Cerazette Mini Pill
I was wondering, if you miss some of the cerazette pills can that delay a period? My period is 5 days late which is unusual and I have done 5 pregnancy tests, the first 2 were a very faint line positive and the other 3 were negative. Does anyone know if missing some of these can delay a period?
