Q: Experiencing Heat in the Joints of the Hand and Foot
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 6th, 2006
For the last few weeks I have noticed a warming or hot spot on my left hand by the knuckle of the index finger and on the top of my left foot just below the big toe. I have tried to see it it feels warm to the touch when it occurs but I think the warming or hot spot feeling in internal. It comes and goes several time a day everyday. Any ideas what it might be? The only other thing that seems odd is that I feel more tired than usual. I don't know whether they are connected or not, or if I could just chalk it up to the fact that I have 4 children!

It is possible the symptoms you describe are caused by fatigue. I believe that it is very difficult to raise 4 kids and to do all the work required to manage a household. If you continue to experience the sensations, you can visit a general practitioner for advice.
