This is probably something you need to speak to your health care provider about.

It is true though that twins do run in families and if you have twins on both sides then there is a much higher chance than normal.

Being over weight can effect your fertility also. Howd you loose 20 lbs? If it was diet and exercise than kudos for u and I think you should keep it up for a lil longer before getting pregnant since being over weight can cause problems during pregnancy like preeclampsia and hypertension also you are more at risk for gestational diabeties and if you need a c-section for any reason it can be more complicated to get to the baby

Yeah it can be harder to get pregnant if you are considerably overweight or underweight. Well done for losing 20lbs! Should check with your doctor about weak immune system. Twins looks very possible.

I just read a whole aritcle in my baby mag. (cant remember which one my hubby threw it away but it was all about overweight moms trying to have babies and there are alot of risks involved. I think it was american baby u should look it to it theres a greater risk of miscarriage and stillbirth if you are overweight and a greater chance of bleeding out during a c-section since most overweight moms need them due to preeclampsia and hypertension and large babies from gestational diabetes. Read about it before you try im not saying dont have a baby just that you hould read up on the risks so you can prepare yourself and maybe get in a little better shape for this baby
