So just got back. Ims still 1 cm and 50% effaced. She wouldnt strip my membranes til im 39 weeks or 38 and 6 days but there wasnt an appt for that day so im going back at 38 and 5 so she wont do it. Plus she asked the head doc and they wont induce me even if I go overdue so next week im scheduling a repeat c-section for the 15th hopefully. The only hopeful news is im measuring bigger than I am for the third time in a row and im hoping they got my due date wrong and this kid comes on his own b4 then. If not o well ill have him next week and plenty of pain killers. Also she said I was high during the cervix check figured she ment his head but thats gotta b wrong cuz he was way down there when I was at the er and they checked plus I can feel hes not to high so I dunno w/e

allie: 8lb 8oz
me 9lbs
jennie: 7lbs 9oz
kimmeh: 8lbs 4 0z
boston:8lbs 12 oz
rachel: 8lbs 10oz
any other takers on betting jsut how big he is?

Yeah when the head is down, it starts to feel a little sore, especially when you walk, sort of like sore bones down there? Cant be much longer to go now.

When you do have a c-section how big is the scare? Would it be worth the pain to just have the baby normally compared to haveing the scare?

Thanks for guessing jennie but theyve already told me hes gunna b bigger than his sister was and she was 7 10. As for the scar its like 6 inches across and in some spots you cant see it ill take a pic of mine if ya want. Personally ive never had vaginal birth but from waht dalicia has described it sounds like it sucks! My c-section was good I already had the iv in so I didnt have to worry bout that poke. I had to have a cathader and that wasnt painful just a lil uncomfortable when they first put it in and then after the section when they took it out (like the next day) they wanted me to cough but I couldnt cuz I still didnt have control over my ab muscles. The spinal hurt but its the same procedure as an epidural so either way id get it and it only hurts for a min. Afterwards it kinda sucks cuz you have to lay in recovery for like 45 min for monitoring b4 u can hold your bab y but then agin your still pretty drugged up so it goes by quick. Then u lay in bed for like 24 hours with a morphine pump and just chill and hold your baby the nurses change your bed stuff cuz after either type of birth you bleed. The only real pain I remember having was from the tape that was holding the bandage the dumb doctor didnt hold my skin down when she pulled it so it created blisters. I dont really remember having my incision hurt to bad maybe for a day or so but I also had pain pills to take.

I'm guessing 8 pounds 12 ounces.

Was there a reason you needed a c-section? Was something wrong with macy?

No there was nothing wrong she was just uncooperative. My doc tried to induce me (well half assed tried she only check on me like 3 times over a 24 hour period so I felt she could have checked more often seen my contractions were slowing and upped my pitocin) and after 24 hours I didnt get past 3 cm so she was like you can go home or have a c-section and my husband had gone thru alot of trouble to b there (he was stationed in chicago for school at the time and I was in fl) so I jsut elected for the c-section
