No you dont. Technically the way I have read that it shouldbe done is two to three days before ovulation and then every other day until 2 or three days after.

I however, am the opposite. Ihave been trying for 2 months. Usually I start two days before I ovulate and then continue everyday until 2 to 3 days past ovulation. That way it ensures me that I didnt miss any days. Hopefully it will work. This month I ovu on the 5th. I started to try on the 3, 4, 5, 6. I am hoping to try again tonight just to be on the safe side. Every other day is fine unless you have a husband that has enough stamina for everyday. Lol

my period is due on the 19th or 20th.So I am hoping and praying that this is the month for me.
