Good morning,

I have been on my pills for a little more then 20 days never missed a pill and never even was more then a minute late. I just took my last active pill saturday night and me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex, it didnt last long lol. But he pulled out a couple minutes before he came and he came on my stomac. I know "pre-cum" is enough to get pregnant but if ive been taken the pills 21 days w/o missing a pill don't you think that its built up in me a little? I mean be honest everyone. It was muy first time ever doing this in the 3 years we have been together. I loved the feeling but ofcourse im a lil nervous. My birth contol packet has the directions and it says to use another form of protection for 7 full days I started the sunday after my period. What are the chances guys pkease get back to me

thanx!

If it says use another form of protection for atleast 7 days---and you have been on for 21 days--you should be perfectly fine. Now...No birth control is 100%, but isnt the pills something like 97, 98%?? You should be fine to have sex anyway you like at this time. You are well past the initial 7 days!!

thank you. Whats confusing me is that the booklet that comes with it says 7 days but my gyno said wait a month thats whats making me nervous. I got caught up in the moment I guess you can say. But he didnt cum in me but im worried about pre cum.. So basically something should have been already built up in my system to stop the pre cum right?

Thanx

Birth control has different effects on everybody. But, since it is your first month, anything could be happening! When I started my first birth control pill, I was on my period for a month straight, it was really out of whack. Then I got on the pill I am on now, and I don't start my period until the third or forth sugar pill, and it only lasts from then until sunday. It may take a few months before your periods get really normal, but they do eventually!! Hope this helped!!

Yeah the 7 days refers to only the first month. After that you don't need another form of protection unless if your worried about stds. So your fine. Don't worry about it.
