Friday night was when it started...We stayed up for nearly 36 hours working on cars out of town...When we finally got home, I ate some food and drank some water. Went to bed for about 8 hours and woke up with a migraine headache. I got up took three excedrin and laid on the couch for a while. My stomach started feeling really sick a few hours later...No matter what I ate or drank...I threw up...I threw up so many times that I lost count...I couldnt keep anything down. I am very very veryyyy tired and weak and shaky..And while I was in the shower, I felt like I was gonna faint... I still throw up if I drink too much water at a time or eat something.. I dont really have an appetite...But keep trying to eat something knowing it will probably come back up...What is wrong with me??? Am I just dehydrated??? Do I just need rest?? Or do I have symptoms of the flu or something worse??? Thanks for your help!

It kinda sounds like you're dehydrated, usually with the flu you can at least get something down. How long has it been since you've drank or eaten something that actually stayed down? Have you tried sipping like gatorade or pedialite..Something with electrolytes in it really slowly? Try doing that and see if it will stay down if you just sip it really slowly...If not go to the doc, I probably would anyway.

Could it have possibly been what you have eaten that 8 hours previously (food posioning)?
You need keep an eye on your fluids level, try to eat things like toast or simple crackers and slowly introduce them back into your diet. If your not able to tolerate any foods and liquids and are constantly faint I would suggest attending your nearest hospital to get a bag of fluids running to replace what you have lost. You can do a simple check of how dyhdrated you are by checking the turgur of your skin. Pinch the back of your hand and if the skin is sluggish to return you might possibly need fluids. Your faintness may be releated to your decrease in blood pressure due to your decreased fluid intake. Def try and rest, take it easy and if it dose'nt
subside go and see your doc. (sounds like gastroenteritis)
