Q: Is Depression causing Head Pains in the Forehead? Or is it
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 5th, 2006
I HAVE BEEN MEDICALLY TREATED ON AND OFF FOR DEPRESSION FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. RECENTLEY I HAVE STARTED WITH HEAD PAINS IN MY FORHEAD, LIKE STABBING PAINS, AND FEELING UNABLE TO THINK STRAIGHT, FEEL MORE EXHAUSTED THAN USUAL AND HAVE GREAT DIFFICULTY COPING WITH DAILY LIFE. THIS IS OFTEN WORSE AT WEEK-ENDS. IS THIS PART OF MY ILLNESS? I AMTAKING CIPRALEX TABLETS BUT THEY DO NOT SEEM TO BE WORKING PROPERLY ANY MORE.

The symptoms you’ve described could be part of a psychiatric disorder, but not necessarily. First, you cancheck your blood pressure. According to your age, there is a possibility that lack of sexual hormones is causing all these problems. You can go to your gynecologist ask for a consultation regarding hormonal therapy.
