Q: Faint Line/confused

I was 3 days late for period in december, on 3rd day late started spotting and that afternoon took preg test. It showed neg. Had very weird period kinda reg period when started then it stopped after day and a half. Had no more bleeding for next four days, had sex with finacee' during this time. Been having preg symptoms like very tired, pain in breast, moody,sens. To smells. I started spotting tues 12/30 all day so that night I took another preg test and it showed extremely faint line. Could I have been preg from last month and first test was inaccurate or did I possibly get pregnant sometime between 12/24 start of period( 1 day) through 12/29 and this preg test is showing preg hormone but very weak. Breast was also tender day of spotting. Just confused on very faint line if means pregnant since first was negative. Weird period also. Thanks

You can still be pregnant and spot, or even have what seems like a period. It's hard to tell when you conceived if you've had "weird" periods, but if a line did not appear the first time you tested, it may have been too early to detect, or perhaps you did not conceive until early december.If a faint line appears in the window, you are more than likely pregnant. If it's very early in your pregnancy, that is all you will get is a faint line. I would wait another week or so, and re-test. If the line is a bit darker, than you know that you are pregnant. If you don't want to wait a week, call your doctor, tell them you had a positive result, and that you would like a blood test ordered just to reconfirm.Blood test levels will tell you approximately how far along you are. Hi There

When I had my second child the same thing happened to me a faint line came up. It depends on when you read the test, if you read it before the 10 minute mark and the fait line was there then you are pregnant. But if you read it after that, some cases a false can become a positive. Which has happend to me (and it said that on the directions. Hope this helps.

I know the feeling, I might be 1 month and 2 weeks pregnant or I might just be 3 weeks pregnant, I have no clue. But the doctor said i'm definatly pregnant and that the line gets darker as you get further along.
